Growth Manager
At Conversation Starter our mission is to accelerate progress by connecting people. We strive to accomplish our mission by enabling organisations such as the European Space Agency, Google, EY and VOKA to host online networking events for people such as entrepreneurs, researchers, managers and pretty much any kind of go-getter.
People love using Conversation Starter - you should watch the ! - and sales are growing exponentially. However, we won't stop until the whole world has heard about us. That's why we need a Growth Manager.
Your goal
As Growth Manager, you will define and execute our growth strategy. Your goal is to make potential customers fall in love with Conversation Starter. Yes, that sounds cheesy - but let us explain. You will host online networking events so people can experience how Conversation Starter works (fall in love!) and get inspired to host their own. You will also perform market research to create relevant marketing content such as blogs and landingpages.
Additionally, you will:
- Research and set up digital marketing and sales tools.
- Define and execute our online advertising strategy.
- Define and execute our social media strategy.
- Manage the community of Conversation Starter event participants
- Create guidelines for international resellers or other commercial partners
- Manage the community managers team as we grow
About you
- Passionate about marketing, professional events and connecting people
- Able to write engaging content in both English and Dutch
- A people person: this role requires a lot of talking
- Strong project and account management skills
- 2+ years of experience in a commercial role (bonus: in software, B2B, or community management context)
- Self-motivated, confident to make decisions and happy to work on your own initiative
